Groove Tour Eldoret


Groove Tour 2015 continues to take over major cities across Kenya, as fans eagerly await stops at their towns. The second stop was at the home of Champions- Eldoret, and the athletic town set aside the activities of the day to show love and support for their favorite Gospel artistes .

G4S security were on top of their game, to ensure that the thousands of fans gathered at Eldoret Sports Club were safe, leaving Mo Sound to focus energy into what they do best. The perfect combination of legendary quality sound, lighting and ambiance had the atmosphere charged with excitement even before the performances began. The Safaricon Village Booth was filled with goodies and fun activities that left both young and old spoilt for choice.

The event officially kicked off at around 1:30 PM . Hype master Guddah and Gospel Warriors took to the stage with their show stopping moves as Gospel artistes who were backstage prepared to bring the house down.

The high momentum was maintained throughout as gospel hit makers Hopekid, Ruth Matete, Willy Paul Msafi and Benachi among other great superstars performed. The North Eastern province was well represented with lively performances from L Jay Maasai and Dawa Ya Mende hit maker Kriss Eroh who had the crowd dancing and singing along. Daddy Owen however stole the show with his big tunes including Mbona and Defender. The energy in the sports club was almost tangible as fans of different age and genders united in praise.

Proving their flair for winning even beyond the running tracks, Eldoret did not disappoint. Various youngsters showcased their talents and one such star- a 10 year old boy, stole the hearts of artistes and fans alike with his exceptionally unique moves.

Yet another mark of success as Groove celebrates 10 years, Eldoret Gospel fans kept asking for more music, and eventually left a happy lot. The star-studded affair of cheer, praise, dance and music that defines Groove Tour continues. The next stop will be in Nakuru on 10th of May 2015.
